Why be poncy about using Latin when you could just call it Weston-on-Sea like everyone else? ;D Anyway, it ought properly to be pronounced "Weston-super-Mar-e" if you're going to use Latin. If you watch Frasier you'll know that Niles' elusive wife is called 'Maris'. This is in the genitive rather than the nominative case, and her name therefore means "of the sea." If you enjoy the wit dispensed by Frasier's superb scriptwriters, you may read into this name that Niles' erstwhile wife is either something exquisite like a sea-horse, or something more menacing like 'the creature from the Black Lagoon'. (I'll get my coat now.....) |

Could anybody please give me a more detailed description of the Weston "Nutter" they have encountered.
As a Weston supporter i have an idea who it might be but would be intruiged to know for certain.
