The use of "super" requires the ablative case here, hence 'Mare' (Maris, Marem, Maris, Mari, Mare etc...). That reminds me of something that vaguely annoyed me the other day. I was in the bath and the ingredients list on my shampoo bottle happened to catch my eye. the particular ingredient that I saw in the list was "Sal Maris" Why can't the idiots just say "sea salt" and what's wrong with "water" instead of "aqua" and even "perfume" instead of "Parfum"? The world is bizarre. Anyway. Back to Non-League nutters... Mr. Weston-super-Nutter looks quite old (I'd say he's at least in his late sixties) and is a steward there. He likes to shout in a quavery voice at the most unexpected times.

Thanks for that ambersalamander, you have given me a chuckle. At Weston we call him "Mr Bean". If you like, on the easter weekend, i will make a point of formally introducing him to you!

Oooh, please do!
I've already been introduced to him- in fact he introduced himself- but informally, and I've forgotten his name! ;D
