I must be the only Tinpotter without an ipod so I cant contribute... There's nothing stopping you from taking 10 random stabs at your CD (or LP) collections and picking a track off each either, although you'll find it a little harder to be truly random. It's just meant to be an insight into the depths of your music collection - warts and all. I recently dug out all my old vinyl from the back of the shed (been there since I moved house in 2002!). I will partake in some random delving tomorrow

Don't worry Mr Womble. My ipod (and a beautiful thing it was, as well as being a birthday gift from my chronically skint boyfriend who really couldn't afford it) got nicked by a bunch of chavs on the bus. We were distracted, you see, when one member of another bunch of chavs tried to smash aforementioned boyfriend's face in with his Reeboks. So I don't have one either It had lots of lovely music on it.

It's probably the reason I rarely use London Transport! Not wishing to be left out, here are fave tracks from the last 10 albums Ive listened to. 1. Bostich by Yello 2. Because you're young by David Bowie 3. Orange Crush by REM 4. Times like these (Foo Fighters) by Glen Campbell 5. Careful with that axe Eugene by Pink Floyd 6. Icehouse by Icehouse 7. Heres where the story ends by The Sundays 8. Guitar Man by Bread 9. This is Pop by XTX 10.Swamp thing by The Grid

I was so engrossed in the Beer Festival last week that I forgot to take a random stab at my vinyl collection. I'll try and remember over the next few days when I have another break back in sunny, sunny Tamworth. For now... 01. The Last Shadow Puppets – "In My Room" 02. Pearl Jam – "Yellow Ledbetter" 03. Siouxsie and the Banshees – "Hong Kong Garden" 04. Sneaker Pimps – "Low Five" 05. New Order – "Regret" 06. IAMX – "This Will Make You Love Again" 07. Boards of Canada – "Turquoise Hexagon Sun" 08. Mansun – "Legacy" 09. Riverside – "The Piece Reflecting the Mental State of One of the Members of Our Band" 10. Sufjan Stevens – "For the Widows in Paradise; For the Fatherless in Ypsilanti" Got a good local band show on Friday. The organisers promise "omnipresent performances" across two stages with "quadraphonic surround sound". Cool poster too.
