Can't say I'm a huge Pixies fan, but I don't mind listening to them at all. I Don't think I own any of their stuff though.
Today's random stab in the dark:
01. Rammstein – "Ich Will" 02. W.A.S.P. – "L.O.V.E. Machine" 03. Dorp – "Rollercoaster" 04. A Flock of Seagulls – "I Ran (So Far Away)" 05. a-ha – "Soft Rains of April" 06. ChinchWoo – "Can't Breathe" 07. Depeche Mode – "Nothing" 08. Ultravox – "I Can't Stay Long" 09. Celtic Frost – "I Won't Dance (The Elders' Orient)" 10. Clutch – "Profits of Doom"
Apart from the two unsigned London bands (Dorp and ChinchWoo), pretty mainstream stuff.

The Pains of Being Pure At Heart - This Love Is f**k**g Right Heard a song by this band (who I'd never heard of but absolutely loved the song) on 6music last night, googled their name this morning to find out some more and one of the pages that came up on the search was this one.

I must be the only Tinpotter without an ipod so I cant contribute but I am off to see The Editors and REM this Saturday (good times). Unfortunately I'm going to miss our trip to Bath City and a potential P6, W6 (bad times)

I must be the only Tinpotter without an ipod so I cant contribute... Wrong on both counts, youth! I don't have a portable mp3 player of any description - just 900+ mp3s sitting on my hard drive at work and WinAmp to randomise the tracks. There's nothing stopping you from taking 10 random stabs at your CD (or LP) collections and picking a track off each either, although you'll find it a little harder to be truly random. It's just meant to be an insight into the depths of your music collection - warts and all. I'll be minus my mp3s and the majority of my CDs whilst I'm at Tamworth Beer Festival next week. I'll be making some random stabs at my vinyl collection to compensate. There's some stuff there that has never been issued on CD. Anyway... Coops - loving the Sigue Sigue Sputnik! A remix of that track narrowly missed my random 10 a few weeks back. I'll have to send you some stuff by The DHSS - you might dig it. 01. The Squirts – "On That Day" 02. The Wannadies – "Hit" 03. Irepress – "Samus" 04. Seasick Steve – "Cut My Wings" 05. John Carpenter – "The Fog: End Title" 06. Jocasta – "Clean Ash" 07. no-man – "Animal Ghost" 08. Doug Pinnick – "Burning of the Midnight Lamp" 09. Dorp – "London Out There" 10. Avenged Sevenfold – "Trashed and Scattered"

Eddie Armchair! I've got some stuff by DHSS up in the loft, must drag it out some day. I also have a tape by The Reliants, who must have been Tamworth's first punk band?
