Any medical person will tell you, your taste budds deterioate with age. Therefore what we are seeing here with the adoration of more cocoa/ plain chocolate is more a show of age rather than the appreciation of Cadbury tuck shop favourites. Cadbury world rocks

Hmm... Actually I'm not a huge eater of chocolate. I can happily go for months without it, and I hardly ever buy it. In fact, thinking about it I do prefer the luxury varieties to the newsagent varieties... vanilla truffles, etc (yummy). Thus, although I do not really buy chocolate I am always HUGELY appreciative on the very rare occasions when someone lovely decided to buy me a luxury selection box (and NO, that is not a hint directed at ANYONE!!!)
And yes, BH, I do like Walnut Whips. When I were a lass, I used to buy two a week!

Had a twirl on the painfully boring train home from work today, it was a little dissappointing considering the usual Twirly magnificence afforded to them. Interestingly, going back to when i lived in my own little room in Brighton last year, Sainsburys Value chocolate (25p for a big slab, only seen in the London Road branch rather than the posher Lewes Road one) was ace and my snacking treat at the end of a good week of oversleeping lectures

I don't mind Youngs 'Chocolate' on draught, and have in the past had some rather tasty other chocolate beers. As for buying chocolate it's self, can't remember the last time I bought any!!

I'm a sucker for chocolate I'm afraid...and my tastes are clearly far too middle-of-the-road and mainstream for the elegant tastebuds on here!
Mars bars, Snickers, Maltesers, Double Deckers, Boosts, Club biscuits ("If you like a lot of chocolate on your biscuit, join....the Euphemism Society" - Graeme Garden) - it's all good for me.
I do like white and dark chocolate but only in moderation. I do occasionally go upmarket, but that's normally at Christmas!

Pursuing the seemingly lost TT practice of tangential progression, I have found two or three wonderful ginger beers before now. That's genuiine real ale, with a hint of ginger, rather than that funny cloudy stuff of yore! REally refreshing stuff. The Enville brewery's example is particularly good.

No, some bloke nicked my usual seat though, maybe if i did i would've scared him away. Twice a week for three months i sit in that seat, i pretty much have it worn into my shape. Actually, he didn't sit in my seat, he just sat next to it making it impossible to access WANT BANANA BEER!

Cadbury world rocks Ah, the folly of youthful bravado will always fare badly against the taste and wisdom of the (s)aged. ISIHAC, I too have enjoyed the pleasures of Enville Ginger Beer and it well complements their honeyed fayre.

("If you like a lot of chocolate on your biscuit, join....the Euphemism Society" - Graeme Garden) If you like a lot of chocolate on your AMBER join our club! Twirls. Oh yes, Twirls. Twirls rule. This is what you do (wot I invented after a few pints). 1) Buy a Twirl and take it to t'pub or SUFC if you happen to drink there like me. 2) Buy a pint of fine ale. 3) Take both to a suitable table and sit upon a suitable chair adjacent to said table. Place the pint of ale upon the table, within suitable supping distance. 4) Unwrap the Twirl. Bite off both ends to a depth of 1-1.5cm. 5) Dip one end of the Twirl into your ale. Put the other end in your mouth and suck. Hey presto, a chocolate straw! The beer keeps the chocolate cool enough that it will not melt in your hand, while giving a subtle but rich chocolate flavour to your beer. It's really bloody nice actually!

Eh, ok Ambersal...........enough with the chocolate dipping. What about that Fullers Cranberry beer? and of course Youngs is Double Chocolate, not just chocolate! I must say I used to like a finger of fudge, just the right combination of fudge and chocolate.
