How do people like the sound of an end of season party/ gathering? This should ideally be in a central location for the Connie Sarf region.
This is very early notice I know but it would give people a helluva lot of time to clear their diaries etc...

This is tinpot Dave. We can't have an easy place to get to as a location for it can we? True. Would need to be somewhere which requires us to use a train, a bus and a taxi, and then to be so obscure that the taxi driver doesn't know it, which forces a 2 mile walk, in the rain, with a hole in your shoe, back in the opposite direction. And that's just GETTING to the place....

That is a shame. Sounds ideal, almost like Romsey Beggars Fair, though more organised and bigger.... Better all keep looking. Is May the best time?

I think that's called Heybridge Swifts. You haven't even mentioned the suicide! Considered it lacking in taste but it was the reason for the bus part of our train/tube/bus/train/taxi effort.
