Thank you, my darling. I thought we ought to have one anyway so people could check their progress without having to look it up. I'd have done it myself but don't have the mental or physical energy! I can't find mine on there I can't either. That website isn't very good. Chichester City I believe? Drew 2-2 with Crawley Down www.ccufc.co.uk/ccufcindex.html

Good tip! I'd already tried that, but it was obvious they drew. Oh well. Replays are good for keeping up interest. My ears hurt

I'm suffering as well, cellulitis in my foot. Not good when I've had 1700 electoral registration forms to deliver over the last few days. Husband and Nickster came up trump on that one. Absolute stars, they were.

Bromyard beat Ledbury 3-2, so my choice get a home tie against Midland Combination side Barwell in the next round

My nominated team, Yorkshire Amateur, fell, not too surprisingly, at the first hurdle going down 5-0 away to Armthorpe Welfare who will now be my new team.
Gary Jones (30'), Danny Sharpe (46'), Ricky Sharp (69') and Stuart Preston (81' & 85') scored the goals and there were 40 spectators.
Armthorpe Welfare, who have lost both their games in Northern Counties East League Premier Division, will be at home to Crook Town, who have 4 points from 2 games in Northern League Division Two, in the Preliminary Round.
My new team plays at the Welfare Ground, Church Street, Armthorpe. Their best F.A. Cup performance was in 1986/87 when they reached the 3rd Qualifying Round. They have played Crook Town in the F.A. Cup before when they lost 5-0 away in the 1st Qualifying Round in 1999/2000.

I have learned this morning that Norton have a couple of ex Leek Town players on their books. John Diskin - veteran of our Unibond championship winning side of 1997 and Captain during our brief stint in the Conference. Scott Dundas - played for us during season 99-00 before moving to Stafford. A move which triggered 2 other players following him. I would imagine he may come in for some stick from our fans who remember the circumstances of his departure.

A home replay for the Doughboys!
One up at the break, the home side equalised on 86! My team held firm for the remaining four, plus four added minutes.
I am so, so tempted to take tomorrow off to watch the replay - if I didn't have a Maritime Training Group meeting in Pompey tomorrow, I would do so!

How Come There is only an 'east' bit to Grinstead and we never hear about the west? Is it just fields or the rough part of town that no-one mentions? May have to start a new thread listing team names starting with points of the compass? West Ham, West Brom, Northampton, Southampton, Eastliegh....or may be not as I fear there might be more than than I first thought!

I was actually at that game on Sunday. Trying to cheer myself up after another Hawk home defeat. I REALLY do not like us being ‘favourites’. Wellingborough were well on top for most of the first half but Kentish Town pretty much mullered ‘em after the half-time tea and bacon bagels, particularly after the little fella (who eventually scored the equaliser) came on. A little matchday write-up which will, to some extent, reference the actual game should appear on dubsteps.blogspot.com as of Monday morning, all being well. Good to see you at Stalebuns last week in your famous hat, and even more famous beard. Are you taking in Chelmsford or Thurrock?
