The Good Ship, 289 Kilburn High Road, NW6 7JR. "289 Kilburn High Road, in between The Tricycle and The Luminaire..." www.thegoodship.co.ukIt's new to me - I'm not expecting much in the way of ale, so I'll be going elsewhere before the gig. (Probably the Southampton Arms in Kentish Town again, as I'm obsessed with that place at the moment.)

Well, it does say on their website "we say yes to real ales" Jase.
"We say no to alcopops, fruit machines, change on a plate. We say yes to real ales, customers of all (legal) ages and enjoying a friendly, non pretentious atmosphere."

They had London Pride on their only handpull... I went with the Hoegaarden (£4.40 per pint! ), followed by a bottle of Duvel (£4.00! ) and made them last most of the night. On the plus side, I was there before 7pm and got in for £3. Three of the bands were excellent, one good and the solo acoustic bod nothing special. Skipped out before the last band, as the headliners went on directly after the Tamworth bands to take advantage of the 40-odd that had come down to see them. Decent venue but the stench from the bogs needs sorting.
