Not sure where to put this one Can people list their pre-season friendlies here so that I can (maybe) plan to do a mini tour of some of the Southern based teams? Ours: Well - we haven't got any yet

We're not exactly southern but over the last 3 years in the Unibond everyone has called us southern.
Only 2 so far, both away.
Tuesday 17th July - Market Drayton Town (away) SSC SF The Shropshire Senior Cup semi-final, Market Drayton are step 5 (Midland Football Alliance) and we played them in the semifinal last year at home where we won 5-1. Never been to Market Drayton's ground before so a new one for me. The winner plays either Shrewsbury Town (League 2) or Shifnal Town (Just promoted to MFA) - For the record Shifnal are at home (Phoenix Park) to Shrewsbury The final is at the New Bucks Head - Telford regardless of who is involved and all fixtures will be settled by penalties if the scores are tied after 90 minutes (no extra time).
Atleast this year we have a 4th team in the competition with Shifnal's promotion to the MFA, last season with 3 teams Shrewsbury got a bye to the final. The season ebfore we had 2 teams and went straight to a Shrewsbury vTelford final. The season before we had 4 teams with (Ludlow v Telford) & (Bridgnorth v Shrewsbury).
Tuesday 31st July - Wellington Amatuers (away) A nearby one for us against Shropshire County Premier League (no idea what step that is) side Wellington Amatuers. They are another side based in Telford and last I heard one of my old teachers played for them, not sure if he still does. The match is arranged to open their new ground.
We'll have more up later but as one was the SSC draw and the other was a pre-arranged match these are all we have right now. Undoubtedly we'll get some Saturday matches later on.

Ian doesn't want to play them apparently. This is because they are sh*t.

28th July - Home to AFC Wimbledon
Others are being sorted now that we know what league we're playing in next season. We've got Exeter if they win the Conference play off final.

(Bridgnorth v Shrewsbury). Now that's where I want to go to watch a football match - Bridgnorth. A day out on the Severn Valley Railway Kidderminster to Bridgnorth Station then beer and football before coming back on one of the SVR's majestic steam engines. Tinpocity at its best.

I've never actually seen a match at Bridgnorth. I can however vouch for the Severn Valley Railway, really enjoy going on that, a very nice peacful day out. Bridgnorth were relegated into the West Midland league though meaning they lost their senior status, they won't be in the SSC this season.
