We don't seem to have arranged any PSF's yet. Then again we don't seem to be looking for another manager either. Presumably the club is concentrating on sorting out the latest farce first. Unless I hear something by the end of tomorrow I'm likely to be in the dark until I get back off my holiday.

The only pro side i remember us playing was MK which annoyed KFC no end...shame that, real shame You are a mere youngster though. Why, not that long ago, Paulo Futre's first game in England was at Colston Avenue. Nothing wrong with annoying AFC KFC though.

KFC?? It's Absolutely f**k**g Clueless i'll have you know. This can be shouted at games along with songs of "You're just a small team in Kingston" which as it stands is my only long standing contribution to the world of football songs. Singing it with a Cork City fan at Worthing and having half the Worthing end join in was a classic womble bashing moment

Quick addendum to my earlier post:
15 Jul A-Line tournament involving a certain club in the E Midlands, another certain club in E Midlands (Rothwell T), St Albans and Hemel Hempstead. No details about tournament layout yet, but a number of ex-pros have been invited to play for one or other of listed teams. Some poor club will get Les Ferdinand, while we have to suffer with Gianfranco Zola pulling on a Poppies' shirt :-)

Does sound an interesting tour with the one drawback that there may be St Albans fans there

Salisbury friendlies update -
Saturday 14th July Weston Super Mare (Away) Tuesday 17th July Gloucester City (Away) Saturday 21st July To Be Arranged Tuesday 24th July Team Bath (Away) Saturday 28th July AFC Wimbledon (Home) Monday 30th July Chippenham Town (Away) Wednesday 1st August Southampton XI (Home) Saturday 4th August Havant & Waterlooville (Away)
Bit of a pain that our opening friendly clashes with our annual trip to the Romsey Beggars Fair (due to the Beggars being a week later than usual this year). If it was a crappy friendly I'd give it a miss for the Beggars, but I do like to see the first one, and we enjoy our trips to Weston though we never seem to be able to get out of the bizarre 'pub' (with even more bizarre locals), Off The Rails, right on Weston station.
