I've not been to sleep properly for two days I prefer to sleep at night personally This week I've had the most horrendous trouble getting to sleep. We're talking about lying in bed for at least 4 hours just wishing I could sleep. Wednesday night was the worst. I'm too tired to say anything else.

I'm too tired to say anything else. - Get the best non-prescription pills on the market for insomnia? - See your Doctor and get something decent, stating that you have just started a new job etc. - Have a large glass of whisky before bedtime? Or cocoa with a large tot of rum. - When in bed, gradually stretch every single muscle in your body, including your toes, until fully tense. Hold this, and your breath, for as long as you reasonably can (perhaps 10-20 seconds). Then from the top to the bottom, slowly untense all. Then breath very regularly until bored.... - Change your brand of bedtime reading matter? - Sit in bed with a notepad and pen. Write down all the things that are going through your head, as they come up. Be comprehensive, and add as much detail as you want. Then screw up the paper into a ball, and throw it into your wastepaper bin. If you miss, you have to start the whole process again. [See if your thoughts have changed....] Repeat the process until you succeed! - I'd suggest you go for a run, but given Medibot's recent 'encounter'... - Have a long hot bath and a bit of pampering. Manicure yourself, and moisturise your feet and hands properly, especially your cuticles. I have been doing the notepad and pen thing actually, because the trouble is I just think too much. These days it's about three subjects, one of which is "miscellaneous" but the other two are far more prolific in my thoughts! And one of those is bloody Sutton United. I have dreamed about that team every single night for the last week. This morning, Loud Girlfriend Man told me I was shouting in my sleep last night. I was, in fact, dreaming about our upcoming FA Cup game at Lewes, and dreamed I was there and shouting encouragement to the team. This is all because I think almost constantly about what the hell is going wrong with our lot. And all our manager says, incidentally, is "our supporters have to get behind the team more" about which I just had THE MOST almighty rant on our forum!
