e) Cambridge United smelling of coconut MY theory is that United are tinpot and eat nothing but macaroons. Bugger. That's our last game of the season (which could be a life or death game) and I hate coconut. Can we play city instead? Last time we played there we won and got promotion. p.s. for BH (Feb 28, 2007, 11:40pm)... The (or at least one, I think there may be more than one) annoying old pompey supporter with the bell lives just down the road from me and sometimes drinks in one of my locals! You think the bell's annoying? You haven't heard his jokes and patter! (actually pompey Dave's not too bad a bloke)

Yeah, they interviewed him on Soccer A.M. or some such programme, and he just came across as just another loony football supporter!! Still wouldn't like a season sitting next to him though!! As for the nut theory, must be the orchards of coconut trees planted on the university campuses. (Well it's my idea. Mind you the only time I've been in a university was in London, when a mate dragged me in to the student bar and fed me copious amounts of beer, so my idea of universities maybe slightly warped)

I've never drunk beer at my university, and don't even know where the union bar is! However this is not because I am not very good at drinking: it is because I am a postgraduate and am too busy and important to think about beer whilst studying Besides, I am not going to waste more time in central London than I have to

Says a young lady with a shrug of her shoulders and a Gallic sniff in the air!! By the way I'm not one to drink to much in London either, though The Hole In The Wall is frequented if required, as they supply a good pint of Battersea ale, and is about two minutes from where I'm sitting at the moment!!

Count me in for 3 March! As for a Salisbury - Sutton meet-up, how about Sat 17 March? Salisbury are at home, and Sutton up the line at Boringstoke. ( Possibly a Tamuff fan around too?) Whitchurch anyone? Quite possibly If it's still happening???
